V�TH Turns up the Wick on the Mercedes-Benz CL500 Coupe

The Mercedes-Benz CL500 [C216] coupe is the latest car to drop into the hands of German tuning firm V�TH. The company starts by squeezing more power out of the 5.5-liter V8 engine through the use of sport camshafts, custom stainless steel sport catalysts and air filters. Output is lifted from 388HP to 460HP and 600Nm, while V�TH also removes the speed limiter allowing the modified CL500 to reach a top speed of 290km/h or 180mph. Read more �

If you want your Mercedes-Benz C250 CGI to be faster and more "carbon-fibery", German tuning firm, V�th, has you covered with its latest package that includes cosmetic upgrades and a variety of modifications under the hood.

There are two levels of performance upgrades for the car's 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. Priced at �1,200, the first kit bumps output from 204HP and 310Nm to 255 HP and 370 Nm. As a result, top speed is lifted to 260km/h or 162mph. The second stage, which includes a new intercooler (�1,186.60) and a sport exhaust system (�2,011.10), brings output to a more potent 270HP.
